Bear Creek

For the Johnson family session, I went back to Bear Creek Events in Pinson TN. It’s been a while since I’ve taken pictures there and it is still beautiful. Bear Creek Events is a small venue in Pinson with a barn, gorgeous mature trees, a pond, a clearing, and a covered area. It’s perfect for an intimate wedding so if you are looking for a wedding during COVID it might just be perfect for you.

The Johnsons

Years ago I had my fall mini sessions there and the Johnson’s had a session. We captured some adorable pictures of their oldest daughter sitting under the tree line. Now their youngest daughter is about the same age so they wanted to recreate the picture. I was really excited to get to go back and do some portraits there.

I also photographed the Johnson’s wedding in Somerville TN years ago. And it’s been so wonderful watching their family grow from the very beginning. We had beautiful weather for our session even though there had been an 80% chance of rain predicted earlier in the week. The temperatures are starting to cool down now so sessions are much more pleasant.

Their oldest daughter Claire has grown up so much and is so beautiful. And little Camryn has the greatest variety of expressions I’ve seen in a while. When she got really tickled about something she would scrunch her nose up so much she could barely see. These two girls are adorable!
