Fall Mini Sessions 2017
I started offering mini sessions around 2013 and have really enjoyed watching it grow. I offer mini sessions once in the spring and once in the fall. It’s wonderful that I have regulars that come every year to update their families photos by having their portraits taken. If you’ve been following me for a while you might recognize some of these people. I even had two of my brides come for mini sessions to have some family pictures done.
Why would you choose a mini session
If you are in need of family pictures but don’t have the budget for a full session, mini sessions are the perfect option. This year for fall sessions we met at a personal residence and it was gorgeous. Even though there were only a few fall leaves still hanging onto the branches, the location more than made up for it. This property has been very cared for over the years. The owners were so gracious to let me spend the whole day wandering around their yard with my wonderful clients. It was probably my favorite location I’ve used for mini sessions so far. We did offer lots of entertainment as moms and dads danced, sang, and jumped around wildly to make their little ones smile.
In the midst of 30 degree nights, we got a beautifully sunny day that wasn’t too cold once we got past the morning hours. We explored and took pictures by waterfalls, lakes, forests and a massive tree that I think I could sit in all day and never need to check my phone. There were tons of fun sticks, pinecones, and leaves for the little ones to play with. And of course, a few leaves may have gotten eaten while we were trying to get a smile. I’m so thankful for all of my clients and had such a great time with this mini session group.
