Newborn
You may remember this sweet family from their recent maternity session. Newborn sessions can be tricky and never go exactly as a parent has planned. That is normal. So try not to stress moms. Newborn photographers know that going into it so we aren’t really phased by whatever that specific challenge is. Little Henry was having a growth spurt and just couldn’t eat enough to fill his tummy. So there were lots of meal breaks, but that’s perfectly fine.
Mom and dad had also been up all night the night before having to feed him every time he realized how hungry he was. So they were exhausted while trying to get everything ready for his session. And they did a fantastic job. If they hadn’t told me I wouldn’t have known they had such a long night. He’s such a sweet little man and didn’t seem to notice his big sister and brother bouncing around him. Jack and Anna were great! When they weren’t involved in the pictures they stayed busying dancing to Ghostbusters. Jack kept hugging and loving on his baby brother. And mom and dad have found that sour patch kids can be great motivation for the “big” kids to smile for a picture.
Milestone Package
I’ve gotten the pleasure of doing newborn pictures for all three kids and it is so great to play a part in the milestones that a family goes through. And little Henry did a great job. He even had some great facial expressions and smiles pop up from time to time in his sleep as I was working with him. It was really great when they fell right after something funny was said in the room making it look like he was listening to us the whole time. I can’t wait to see just how different he will look in a few months when he has his next milestone session.
