The McMillans
I’ve been excited to meet the country gospel group, The McMillans in the weeks leading up to our session. It’s not every day that you get to work with a music group. Although the portraits of singers aren’t all that much different than those of families, it’s just exciting to make photographs to be put on a music group’s site or album covers. Luckily these guys are also family so they have great chemistry and work together well.
Unfortunately, the rain kept interfering. We finally went on with our session despite the rain and I tell you it takes special people to be able to make the cold wind and rain look this good. You can check out The McMillans music by clicking here.
Pugh Bourne Park is a little park tucked away in Jackson TN. It has a horse barn that is really pretty for portraits. We were able to use the barn as shelter from the rain. These guys were very nice and laid back so it made it all much easier. When changing clothes they would have to run through the rain back to their van but it wasn’t too much trouble.
