Washington State Engagement
I got so lucky when Tiffany & Ray booked me as their wedding photographer. What are the odds that a couple that is from Tennessee but lives in Seattle would choose me? This is such a neat situation because my brother lives in Oregon and just had a baby which I desperately wanted to go visit just in time for me to go out and get to spend a day photographing Tiffany & Ray in a gorgeous park in Washington State. Cape Disappointment. Yes that is the name of the park and it was anything other than a disappointment. It’s gorgeous. And we got so incredibly lucky with crazy warm weather for the area. There aren’t many men who would be as patient as Ray in having their picture made for so long but I just couldn’t stop! There were so many gorgeous spots and luckily this wonderful couple was up for hiking and exploring.
Their Story
Tiffany & Ray have an interesting story because they had been set up on many occasions long before starting to actually date. Their families have been trying to get them together for years and set them up but we all know how awkward being set up can be so after many times they decided to just stay friends and stayed in touch with each other. When Tiffany moved out to Seattle near where Ray lived he offered to show her around or just get together with her and after many many trips and hang outs, the two realized they were dating. They both love to travel around, hike, and explore and have spent hours on the road together. I am so glad I got to explore for a while with them in such a beautiful place. It’s always easy taking pictures of a couple who can’t help but smile when they look at each other. I can’t wait for the wedding!!
