Newborn session

He’s finally here! William Fox is so precious and look at that hair! I’ve been working with his family since his dad proposed to his mother on a chilly night on a bridge in Nashville. He proposed and had an adorable puppy in a box. Well, this box has made it’s way through all of our sessions. It’s never been as cute as it is with little William curled up asleep in it. They were married at The Listening Room in Nashville. Their puppy, Fancy, came for the pictures and of course. She has become such a natural model that when we did William’s pictures she kept posing so perfectly for me in front of the Christmas tree that I just had to snap a few of her.

The Petrys

I love getting to know my bride and grooms during their engagement session and at their wedding and I especially love when I get to photograph them and their family more once the wedding is over. I’ve gotten to do follow-ups with several of my couples recently and it is really wonderful. So, of course, I was so excited when Jared and Heather called me to do their gender reveal and maternity session and I knew I’d get to come to meet baby William and do his first portraits.

I have no doubt that Jared and Heather will be such amazing parents. And lucky for him, he has a great big puppy sister in Fancy. When I was doing his pictures she kept sneaking in watching me and sniffing him to make sure everything was ok. And she stayed close just in case we might want her for a picture too.
