Grace and Jacob had a gorgeous church wedding at First Baptist Church and reception at The Colonial Tea Room in Huntingdon.

I knew from their engagement session that Grace & Jacob’s wedding would be a sweet one. These two are so kind and easy going. During their ceremony, the pastor talked about his meetings with the two of them. He told the things they both said about each other and their relationship. It was obvious to everyone there that they love each other so much.

They met when they were both at school at UT Martin in Martin TN. Jacob proposed at his grandfather’s farm. He strung lights at the dock by the lake there. He had hot cocoa because it was freezing outside. She was completely surprised.

The Wedding

After slipping into her dress, Grace was standing in the hall as her mother buttoned up the last few buttons on her dress. Her dad walked over to see her for the first time in her dress. I just love the sweet responses fathers have when they see their little girls in their wedding dresses. Her grandparents walked over next and were just as sweet and overcome with emotion when they saw her. She was stunning!!

Their ceremony was at First Baptist in Huntingdon TN. It’s a large beautiful church right on the court square of Huntingdon. They had a wonderful group of friends and family. The bridesmaids kept breaking into song and kept us entertained the whole time we were running around getting pictures. I always love a soundtrack on a wedding day! There was a high chance of rain in the forecast but it held off and only rained for a few minutes before the guests arrived.

The Colonial Tea Room

The reception was at the Gorgeous Tea Room just across the street in Huntingdon. It’s a historic building and is absolutely beautiful inside. It has gorgeous hardwoods, chandeliers and huge windows both upstairs and downstairs.
