The Columns of Bolivar | The Sammons | Tracye’s Photography

I typically go to The Columns of Bolivar for weddings but this week I got to use it for portraits. Not too long ago I was there taking pictures of Libera & Charles for their wedding and now we met back up and I got to meet their precious little boy. We were scheduled for a maternity session. Things got hectic and then he came a bit early. That turned our maternity session turned into a family session.

They were in town for the holidays and we were able to fit in a session on a cold day. Luckily The Columns have a gorgeous interior and giant windows. They have it decorated with antiques and it looks very similar to what it could have many years ago. The upstairs is being worked on now and I can’t wait till it’s done. No matter how many times I go up there I am always surprised at how much space there is. Having the upstairs available will add so much more to this venue and give so many more options.

It’s always so wonderful to get to meet back up with my bride and grooms after the wedding is over.  I enjoy getting to meet back up with them for sessions. I loved working with these two on their wedding day. They can make each other laugh with such ease. I love getting to play a small part in helping them hold on to memories from their wedding and the growth of their family.
