Laura Kate & Hunter | Engagement Session | Jackson TN

I really enjoyed getting to know Laura Kate and Hunter better at their engagement session. After a few changes in date and venue, we finally settled on the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus in Jackson TN. It’s a beautiful place for portraits. The trees and architecture add a lot of different looks for your session.

Laura Kate and Hunter actually met through her brother and he proposed in front of their families. So it sounds like these two are really surrounded by love and support. It’s always so special when you can include your loved ones in all the big moments in your life. I’m really looking forward to their wedding this summer. 

It was a beautiful spring day and we got lucky that even though it got a bit cloudy, there was never any rain. I love this campus because no matter how many times I photograph people here I always find surprises. There was a beautiful trail of purple flowers along one of the sidewalks and I think it made for my favorite pictures of these two.

Laura Kate & Hunter were total naturals. I only had to do a little bit of guiding them and they posed together so naturally. Every photographers dream. Congratulations to these two on their upcoming wedding!
