Cortland had a really fun movie birthday party this weekend. Kids are so excited to get to go to birthday parties again and be with their friends. Cortland’s mom did a great job decorating his movie birthday party. The decorations were so fun and the snacks were even better.

Cortland had friends from school come and spend time playing and jumping in the bouncy house in his backyard. I’ll tell you, it’s hard to get a bad picture of kids jumping because they are laughing and smiling with their friends. We started out with Cortland showing me how he could turn flips in the bouncy house. Then he started showing me that he could dunk on the basketball goal inside.

When his friends got there there was lots of football, bouncing, running, and eating to be done. They took a break to light a sparkler candle and then cut the cake. Once everyone had gotten their fill of sweets, Cortland came in and opened his gifts. I think everyone there had a great time. Cortland’s little brother stayed busy running around keeping up with the big kids the whole time.

There was movie theater candy and large boxes of popcorn. And the movie cake was absolutely perfect. I’m betting every kid at the party slept hard that night. That is the sign of a perfect party!
