The weather for my session with Cody & Kristain was a bit strange. This is the time of year when you don’t know when you wake up what to expect. It could start out in the 20s and end up a wonderful 60 degrees. Today I was out in short sleeves while there was ice melting on a trailer in my driveway. It’s just so unpredictable.

On the day of Cody & Kristain’s session, the sun was out and it looked absolutely beautiful. But it was very cold. There was an icy wind blowing through and I had on about 4 layers of clothing. They had traveled from Florida to be with family for the holiday so the weather really caught them off guard. Cody was a great sport in short sleeves for it to be so cold.

I set up a session with Kristain for their extended family a while back and life happened and we had to reschedule. Unfortunately, there were more unexpected things so it ended up being just the two of them for their session. I hate that they weren’t able to get exactly what they needed but it was great meeting the two of them. Kristain is a photographer from Florida and it’s always quite the compliment to be chosen to photograph another photographer. Hopefully, sometime in the future, we will get a chance to get everyone together.
