Baby Leo has such a great first birthday in Lexington TN with all of his family and friends. You can’t go wrong with a smash cake, disco balls, and a bouncy house. He was surrounded by lots of cousins and friends to play with.

I got to photograph Leo’s baby shower last year so I knew that his first birthday party would be a fun party. His whole family is such a caring fun group of people to spend the day with. It was a hot day but everyone had a great time. The kids all spent most of their time in the bouncy house. When little Leo woke up from his nap he went straight to cake. He took his cake-eating duties very seriously and even made sure to lick the plate so he didn’t miss any of the icing.

Once everyone had had their food and cake and spent time together we took Leo inside to get some photos of him alone. It only took him a minute to start smiling for me. When we started playing peek a boo he got the giggles and just couldn’t stop laughing. It was perfect timing for our little photoshoot. There were so many happy expressions that I had trouble narrowing down which ones to use for his post. He’s so precious and I’m so glad I got to be a part of his first birthday.
