Tibbs Family | Newborn Session | Bells TN

I got a message from the Tibbs family that they needed a newborn session. This is a large family and they had never had professional pictures made before. It’s always exciting to get to photograph a family and give them great images to look back on. If they’ve never had a photographer document their family before it’s even more special.

We planned to do their session later in the day so that the older siblings could come after work to be in the large family picture. This sweet baby boy was wide awake and wanted to watch everything around him during his newborn session. So there was a lot of rocking back to sleep in between clothing changes and reswaddling. His family waited patiently while we did all his newborn pictures.

It was a beautiful day and the weather is finally starting to cool down a bit. His parents wanted some images of him with his dad’s tools and with the family’s bible, saddle, and quilt. We made our way outside and barely had enough time before sunset to get all the pictures we wanted. It’s always great to meet a new family and I hope to get to photograph them all again soon.
