Spring Minis 2025 | West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center

Spring Minis 2025 really snuck up on me this year — and honestly, “hectic” might not even begin to cover it. Between remodeling most of our downstairs, revamping my website, and cheering on my daughter through two overlapping plays, life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately.

When it came time to pick a location for this year’s minis, I kept circling back to the West TN AgResearch and Education Center. It’s just one of those places that never disappoints — the trees are always stunning, the flowers are picture-perfect, and it adds just the right touch of natural beauty to every session.

This year’s Spring Minis were extra special because every single session was booked by families I’ve photographed before. I absolutely love meeting new clients, but it’s such a treat to catch up with familiar faces and document how much their lives (and little ones) have grown. It always feels less like work and more like spending time with friends.

And as an added surprise, this season turned into an unofficial “dog appreciation” tour! I walked into these sessions not expecting any pups, but I ended up getting to photograph quite a few — and if you know me, you know that’s always a win. Dogs bring so much extra joy and personality to photos, and I’m always happy when a four-legged friend tags along.

Even with all the chaos of life lately, these sessions were a sweet reminder of why I love what I do — capturing moments that matter, whether it’s new faces, old friends, or furry companions.
