Wedding Venues of Jackson TN and the Surrounding Area
Jackson, Memphis, and the surrounding area of greater Nashville, Tennessee, is home to many beautiful and classical hotels that reflect the city’s rich history of Southern culture and sophistication. The Hermitage Hotel
Located in Nashville, this stunning property has hosted weddings since 1910 and know how to create events that are just perfect! Each of the event areas, The Grand Ballroom and Lobby, the Veranda, and the Performing Arts Suite all offer a different type of elegance. For intimate gatherings, the Performing Arts Suite is perfect. This space is also utilized as a venue for events such as bridal showers and post-wedding brunches and the like. The Grand Ballroom, seating up to 200, and the Veranda, which accommodates up to 90 seated guests, both offer a sophisticated room in which to hold your ceremony or reception.
The Venue at Twin Oaks
This gorgeous estate is situated on six acres in the historic town of Humboldt. This grand home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and served as a hospital during the Civil War. In addition to its amazing history, Twin Oaks provides everything that a modern couple could possibly need to make their wedding dreams come true. The Lawn Courtyard and the Veranda, are the main outdoor spaces, with three event rooms inside, a full catering kitchen and bride and groom suites.

The New Southern Hotel
Located in the heart of Jackson, this hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and once inside you will understand why! The renovated lobby offers seating for up to 200 guests, with cocktail receptions up to 300 people. There are many original touches that add to the overall flourish of this historic site: the reception desk is a beautiful piece and original to the hotel, as do the original floors and plasterwork. There is an on-site catering kitchen and couples are able to choose their own vendors in order to fully customize their ceremony and reception.
Dixon Gallery and Gardens
This Memphis venue is a sophisticated option for couples who seek a venue that is just a bit more unique than the others. The lush gardens are the perfect complement to the impressive artwork that lines the gallery walls. The Hughes Pavilion is just perfect. For couples hosting a simple service with a limited number of guests, the gardens make an ideal spot for your party of 15 people or fewer. Seating at the Hughes Pavilion, both indoor and out, is available for up to 100 or so guests.

Heartwood Hall
This antebellum estate located in Piperton melds classic architecture with 25 acres of rustic surroundings to create a unique venue that is full of charm. This venue is able to provide everything that you could possibly need, making your planning much less stressful and also allowing you to enjoy your celebration without having to worry about the details. The Grand Manor Home was built in 1840 and houses the bridal and groom suites. Guests will gather on the Veranda prior to the ceremony in the beautiful courtyard which is followed by the reception in the barn; Heartwood Hall is truly a special place.

The Cumberland House
Built in the 1870s as a father’s wedding gift, The Cumberland House continues to be a gift to brides. This two-story downtown Jackson house sits among three acres of beautifully terraced gardens and rolling lawns. A pavilion with tall, elegant curtains stands at the back of the house looking out over the lawn, offering a place where your first dance will feel like its inside and outside at once. On the house’s long porches as you prepare to join the most special person in your life you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time to a Victorian novel to do so.
