Theatre Wedding
Saturday’s wedding was a unique and fun theatre wedding. I am completely flattered that after I did Abby’s sister’s wedding years ago her family thought of me to also photograph her wedding. They were so wonderful to work with last time and just as great this time. Abby has to be one of the most grateful people I have ever met. She had joy and happiness just flowing out of her and she sincerely thanked every person that she came across. So it’s no wonder that she and Isaiah were so crazy about each other. They were a photographers ideal couple because they just automatically looked at each other lovingly all day long and I never once had to remind them to smile or get closer.
Their wedding was at the Ned in downtown Jackson TN. Abby is in plays and grew up acting at the Ned so it was the perfect place. Their invitation was a ticket and their wedding program was a playbill. It was perfect. It’s been a hot last few weeks but somehow the day of their wedding the temperature was about 10 degrees cooler and their was a cool breeze so we were able to go out and get pictures downtown.
We went back to the Ned for the ceremony. They stood on stage for the wedding ceremony and then when they walked out as man and wife the curtains opened and the reception was set up onstage. Abby surprised Isaiah with a song. She sat at the piano and played and sang for him. He stood by the piano and looked at her lovingly and it was a wonderful moment. Congratulations you two!
