Audra and Jason

Audra and Jason have had unique weather on both the days I’ve photographed them. They’ve been pleasant and happy both times regardless. Their engagement session was on one of the hottest days of the summer. It was so humid that we had to wait 10 minutes at the beginning of their session so that my camera and lenses could adjust to the humidity. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen anywhere but at the beach until now.

Jason and Audra are such a fun couple. At their engagement session, they didn’t mind hiking a trail in the heat, and on their wedding day it was in the 30s outside. They never once complained. I’m so glad they stuck it out because we got some beautiful pictures. There were even still fall colors in the trees despite the cold.

These two found each other online and Jason proposed on the rooftop of the beautiful Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN. The Peabody is such a romantic place. It’s the perfect spot for a proposal.

The Wedding Day

Audra and Jason started their wedding day getting ready with friends and family at Cumberland Presbyterian in Jackson TN. Audra’s sister and Goddaughter were all smiles helping her button up her wedding dress and put on her veil. Once she was ready Audra had a first look with her dad.

After exchanging gifts and letters Jason and Audra were ready to step outside and have their first look. It was such a precious moment. Once they had their time together we brought out the wedding party for a few more images. We finished them up just in time as the light outside completely disappeared.

Ceremony

Once all the pictures were done it was time for the ceremony. They had a traditional service with many very special parts. It included readings by the bridesmaids, a unity candle, a puzzle to join their family, a special trumpet solo and communion with all their guests. They were sent off with sparklers and everyone headed over to The Opera House in Humboldt TN for the reception.

The reception was beautiful with great food and touching speeches from their loved ones. I wish you two all the love and happiness in the world.
