Change of plans

So many things have been different in the world over the past few months. Weddings are no exception. With all the stipulations on travel and contact with others, lots of weddings have had to be rescheduled or postponed. In cases of someone determined to have a large wedding, they don’t even know when that will be possible again so they can reschedule. Michael and Jessica had originally planned a much larger wedding but changed those plans and decided on a wedding at Blessings Barn.

Jessica and Michael went to school together but didn’t date until later in life. Lucky for them they shared a mutual best friend and she is who brought them together. Even though their wedding day wasn’t what they had originally planned, they both seemed very excited. I was so happy to be a part of their wedding.

The Wedding

It was a beautiful day for a wedding at Blessings Barn. The sun was shining and the sky was beautiful. I arrived a little early and Michael and Jessica were already there and ready to get things started. They had decorated the arbor for the ceremony and were inside waiting. We took a few pictures until the officiant arrived and then headed out to the arbor. The ceremony was sweet and beautiful. I feel blessed to have been one of the few people to get to witness it. Congratulations you two! I wish you lots of love and happiness.

To all those couples out there trying to plan a wedding, my heart goes out to you. Hang in there! It’ll be more predictable soon. And no matter what type of wedding you decide you have, you are still married at the end of the day. And that is the best part!
