It was the perfect day for Olivia & Shane’s Cogan’s Farm engagement session. The humidity has hit in West Tennessee but a tropical storm came through and we’ve had a wonderful week of cooler weather and low humidity. That is so rare here in late June. There was a great breeze and beautiful sunshine.
Cogan’s farm is such a great place for a session. They have so many beautiful trees and buildings that make for great portraits. They have several trees that have branches that drop down and reach up and they are so unique. It’s always fun to pose people around them. The animals kept us company as we wandered around the property finding great spots. Olivia & Shane brought their stunning car to be part of the session. It’s very special because it was passed to Olivia by her dad. You can’t find a more beautiful prop than that.
The sun always filters beautifully through the trees and across the giant front porch of the house. The pond has a beautiful fountain that also catches the light beautifully. They were so nice and let us borrow a golf cart to get around so we didn’t have to walk as much. If you are looking for a great outdoor location for an engagement session you should definitely consider Cogan’s farm.
I’ve loved meeting these two and getting to know them better during their session. I can’t wait for the wedding. These guys are such a pleasure to be around that there’s no way the wedding won’t be a blast.
