Erika and Mike Engagement Session

I met Erika and Mike for the first time when I came to do their engagement session. They decided they wanted their pictures done at the location of their wedding. It’s a place that is special to Mike. The wedding will be at the home of a family member on the edge of a lake. It’s a gorgeous house with lots of tall trees that lead down to a dock on the lake.

These two have a very unique story of how they met. They both loved playing video games and were very good at it. They each played on teams that started playing together. After many games and nights where they were the last two still awake playing, they got to know each other a bit and decided to talk outside the game. Several Skype sessions and a flight to California and these two became a couple.

It was great getting to know a little about them and watching as they made each other laugh over and over. I’m really looking forward to their wedding next summer and seeing how they transform this gorgeous yard into the perfect spot for their wedding.
