Milestone Session
This session was one of the Floyds milestone sessions. The Floyds are one of those families that I have been lucky enough to photograph many times. We are in the same Sunday school class and have a pretty tight-knit group. We had days of rain and it was so wonderful to have some sunshine show up in time for our session. Luckily it was sunny all day just enough to dry out the grass so the water wouldn’t completely soak through the blanket when these guys sat on the ground.
With a gorgeous location and perfect sunshine we had a really wonderful session. These two little boys were so good, listened and gave us smiles whenever we asked. Well… most of the time. The bumble bees made Tyler a bit nervous but he still tried hard to stand still and smile at the camera. It helped a lot that they had a bag of melts that the boys received whenever they worked hard.
Spencer is 9 months
This session was for Spencer turning 8/9 months. I wish I could have captured just how amazing this little man’s expressions are. He has the best and most expressive eyebrows I have ever seen on a little baby. Most pictures started out with him looking at me like I was crazy and he was trying to figure out what was going on and then within seconds, his expression would change about 5 times. He is always so fun to work with.
The Floyds have really figured out how to work these sessions because this time they brought the grandparents to help carry their stuff and for extra people to make the kids laugh during pictures. Great Grandparents are such a blessing! And I don’t mind at all slipping them into a few pictures at a babies milestone session. Everyone needs pictures with the ones they love.
