We chose to have a Lambuth Campus engagement session. It ended up being a gorgeous fall day. University of Memphis, Lambuth is a great place for different colored trees in the fall. They have several bright yellow trees and those are my favorites. They can make even a dark day look super bright. Luckily for these two though, it was a sunny, perfect day.

I love doing engagement sessions with my couples because it gives me more time to spend with them before the wedding. We can get to know each other a little better so we don’t feel like strangers on their wedding day. It also gives them a chance to get more comfortable in front of my camera and I can guide them through where to put their hands and things. Couples spend more time with the photographer on their wedding day than almost any other person. So you need to feel comfortable together.

When a couple has fun together you can really see it in their pictures. And Jordan and Austin definitely make their pictures look fun. I guess it’s a lot like chemistry between actors making the movie or show better. These two have got it. I can’t wait until their wedding because I have no doubt it’s going to be a great day.
