Joyner’s Campgrounds | Carri Beth & Dave | Engagement Session

Carri Beth & Dave decided to have their engagement session at Joyner’s Campground in Somerville TN. I love it when people chose places I have never been for their sessions. I especially love when it is a really old place. There is so much history at this little campground.

Joyner’s Campground is a Methodist campsite founded in 1892-93. This place is amazing. It has a huge tabernacle with pews placed on giant logs. From the outside, this place looks like a very large barn but from the inside, you can just tell this place has been “home” to hundreds over the years. The cabins are still there and families still meet up for a week of fellowship and worship. I found a page online talking about the history.

Carri Beth and I knew each other’s siblings in high school and it was so neat to get together with her and Dave and see what they are up to these days. I’m looking forward to spending more time with them on the wedding day.
