In some cases, the engagement session is the first time I meet my wedding couples. Kelsie & Jacob were one of those cases. I had been booked completely by phone, text, or email. So I was looking forward to our session and getting to meet and get to know them. Kelsie’s first choice of location had been at the venue where they will be getting married. But with our session being on a Friday it’s really hard to be able to use a venue because they usually have a wedding setting up on that day. So we needed to choose a different spot.
Kelsie wanted a location with flowers and trees so I suggested we use the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Jackson TN. It has lots of beautiful spots if you are looking for nature. We met there for their session and walked around finding pretty places for their engagement photos. I got to know more about how they met and got engaged. They had found one another online but not in the typical way. Jacob had seen a picture posted with Kelsie in it and reached out to her. I always love hearing the different stories of how people find one another.
I’m really looking forward to Keslie and Jacob’s wedding at The Robins Nest in Toone TN. I can already tell it’s going to be a fun event. Congratulations on your engagement you two!
