Leo’s newborn session | Martin TN | Tracye’s Photography

This week was Leo’s newborn session. I made my way to his family’s home in Martin TN and he was the greatest sleeper. I met Leo’s parents years ago when they hired me to photograph their wedding. It was a wonderful day. I’m so glad that I have gotten to photograph them over the years as their family has grown.

Just like with most second children, I was called the week they were headed to the hospital to have sweet baby Leo. I wasn’t sure there was any way these two could create a child more adorable than their little Lucy but Leo is so precious. We heated up his room and he was a superstar. This baby boy slept through most of our session. His mom had even purchased some absolutely precious little outfits for his session.

Big sister Lucy had not had a chance to hold her baby brother yet. And you would have thought she’d been doing it all along. Lucy held him so gently. She kept leaning over to touch her face to his. She would grin for us on cue and never threw baby brother on the floor. That is much harder for a little one than you realize.

I feel honored to be chosen again to photograph the milestones of one of this family’s precious little blessings. I’m looking forward to each session with them. Congratulations you three!! He’s perfect and Leo’s newborn session was great!
