Logan & Julia Engaged
I was so excited to finally get to meet Logan and Julia. Not only did I get to spend the evening with them but also their sweet black lab Zeus. I met with the two of them in Huntingdon. We drove over to some land that belonged to part of Julia’s family. We even got to take pictures beside a small house that has been in Julia’s family for years. It was moved to her uncles property. I’ve driven through but I don’t think I have ever actually been to Huntingdon until that day but it has a beautiful downtown square and is surrounded by lots of gorgeous farm land. We had chosen the perfect day with great weather and the fall leaves had brought out the perfect colors. We were also lucky enough to find one last cotton field left unpicked for us to use for pictures.
Small Town Session
The perks of having sessions in someone’s small home town is that Julia knew everyone. Everywhere we went people she knew drove by or stopped to say hi and any spots that we saw that looked like a great place for a portrait turned out to be owned by someone she knew. It was wonderful. There is so much beautiful property in Huntingdon.
Julia and Logan two met through a mutual friend and it is obvious they both take a big interest in each others work and hobbies. Sports play a big part in their relationship and Logan used their dog Zeus to propose to Julia. He had just recently come back from training and did a great job of following commands until a frog jumped into the pond next to him and he just couldn’t resist diving in after it. Congratulations you two! I can’t wait for the wedding in December!
