Marissa & Brayden | Engagement Session at Pugh Bourne Park

Marissa & Brayden decided to have their engagement session at Pugh Bourne Park in Oakfield TN. It was the perfect fall day and the leaves at Pugh Bourne Park were so great. There were lots of different colors floating around. I met Marissa many years ago when I photographed her sister’s wedding. It’s a great feeling when a family chooses to work with you repeatedly. I’ve gotten so lucky this year and had several weddings with families I’ve worked with in the past.

I’m looking forward to seeing and catching up with her family at the wedding. A while ago I met with Marissa & Brayden to talk about weddings and what they were looking for in their wedding photography. So I’ve gotten to talk with them a bit already. The engagement session was a fun day of exploring Pugh Bourne Park. They have a horse barn at the back of the park so we started there. That’s also where we found some gorgeous light filtering through the colorful trees. A lot of the fall leaves have been more muted this year so I was excited to find some bright colors.

It was a great session and I’m really looking forward to the wedding!
