Marlar Triplets are 1! | The New Southern Hotel

What can I say about the Marlar Triplets! These little sweeties are so wonderful to work with. The whole family is great to work with. From photographing their older siblings to photographing them from the time they were newborns to everything in between, this family has been one of my favorites to work with. They are all full of personality. I have loved spending their first years with them to get to know those individual personalities. First, let’s just point out that these parents are absolutely amazing. They have twins and triplets and still have their sanity and take the time to do portraits of them this often.

Triplets one year old portraits

The girls were so patient for their session. Letting us get through individual portraits of each of them and hanging out til it was time to get to dig in to their cakes. They even made it through a costume change without much trouble! As you can see two of the girls look more alike but they have fairly different personalities from each other too from what I could tell in this session. Ashton and Dillon are hard to tell apart but Dillon was not too happy with cake on her hand.  But Dillon surprised us by being the best to let us put her little hat on her head for the balloon pictures. Landon was very on the go and ready to get things started. She tried to crawl out of every picture we set up. She also wanted to throw her L down every time her mom got out of the picture so she’d have to come back and put it back. Ashton was gentle and paid close attention to what was going on around her. She never got too emotional but was well aware of her surroundings. I can’t wait to see these girls get older.
