Navarre Beach Family Vacation
Last week I went on a family trip to the beach. I absolutely love the ocean so beach trips are some of my favorites. We went to Navarre, Florida which is a beautiful beach that we’ve been to once before. I grew up going on beach vacations with my family so we try to go and take the kids as often as we can. This year was probably the first years that both of my kids cooperated and actually enjoyed having their pictures taken.
My son, Elliot, has trouble seeing in bright sun so asking him to stand in white sand and keep his eyes open is a pretty tall order but this year we got lucky and it had just stormed so there were dark clouds on one side of us and it was clearing up on the other side. It was still not bright at all so I actually got some pictures with the little redhead’s eyes open. Adelyn, on the other hand, loves the usually girly things like twirling around in a new dress so that worked out perfectly. I, of course, got some great pictures of the whole extended family also. The last day of a trip is always sad but there is just something about sliding under the covers and sinking into your own bed at home that makes it all ok.
