I just recently got to meet with this family for their maternity session. They decided to book a milestone package so they can get lots of sessions of their new baby in the first year. After the maternity session comes the newborn session, their newborn Ameya was precious. Newborn sessions are always crazy for parents. You just had a huge change and have not slept. If you have older siblings they are adjusting to life with another family member. It can be a lot.
I decided a while ago to offer in home newborn sessions. I still offer the backdrop and a few basket images just in your home. That’s what they chose for newborn Ameya. It’s more rush and work for me but I feel like with a newborn it can be a lot to pack up all the things you need and go somewhere. When we are in your home older siblings can play with their things and mom and dad can relax a bit while I’m working with baby.
I also love doing milestone packages because then I get to see the baby grow through the first year. It will be so fun to watch how these new sisters adjust and interact with one another. New babies are precious and exhausting all at once and I hope this sweet family enjoys every minute of it. Congratulations on your sweet little girl.
