Newsom Family | Downtown Jackson TN | Tracye’s Photography

I met part of the Newsom Family while doing a wedding at a family farm. We both knew the bride’s family and were vendors for the wedding. I’m so happy that they called me for their family wedding after seeing the pictures I took of our friend.

Their family wedding was interrupted a bit by Covid so it was a small intimate wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I got to spend a bit more time with them that day due to the more intimate group. I always feel so privileged when people come back to me for more pictures.

The Newsom family had a super small window of just a day or two to get family pictures done. Not all of the family live in town so when they were all together we needed to fit in a session. Unfortunately, the day came and it was very chilly and rainy. But we were able to get great images inside The New Southern Hotel in downtown Jackson.

The New southern is a gorgeous old building in Jackson with giant windows in a ballroom. The downstairs was in use but we got to take advantage of the light in the ballroom away from the rain.
