Oregon Newborn Session

This Oregon newborn session is a little different than my usual newborn sessions. I typically have the mom and dad call me when the baby is born. Then we set up a day in the first ten days to do the session. I have found you get more of the newborn session look that way. They sleep more and curl up easier. To me, it’s the best time for a session with a tiny baby. But sometimes, like when the baby is in Oregon, you don’t have that option.

Of course, she did wonderfully though. And I didn’t mind a little extra time of shushing her to get her to sleep.

My Niece

Of course, I can’t fit all of the pictures I love of my new niece into one blog post so there will be another post next week. I got to go spend a whole week with my brother, sister in law and niece last week and it was wonderful. There’s nothing like watching your big brother with his new little baby. He’s my big brother and my first friend and I just love getting to play a part in the big moments in his life. So I introduce you to my niece, Aura. She’s a month old now and I just couldn’t take enough pictures.
