Pedde Children
I worked with these sweet kids mother at summer camp years ago. We’ve stayed close over the years. I am so happy that she comes to Jackson in the summers to do swim lessons with her family. When she does I get a chance to catch up and photograph her precious kids.
We’ve done matching pictures of the kids in front of the chapel at University of Memphis, Lambuth campus. Their grandparents went to school at Lambuth and got married in the chapel on campus. This year it was Maggie’s turn. Outside is so extremely hot and humid right now that we couldn’t do our full session outside but we were able to get our Lambuth picture done.
For the pictures of all the kids together we headed to downtown Jackson to the historic New Southern Hotel. Now they use the bottom floor and the ballroom as a venue for events and weddings. It is a very unique and elegant space. It’s unlike anything else you’ll find in Jackson. It has huge gorgeous windows and lets in a ton of light for portraits. It was a great spot for our session.
