Nashville Proposal
Who would have thought that in the middle of February the weather would be perfect for a Pedestrian Bridge proposal in Nashville, TN. I’ve found that with proposals I look a lot less suspicious if I am not standing all alone with a camera. I typically bring someone with me and we chat and stand around waiting for the moment. Luckily on this particular Valentine’s day weekend, my husband came with me. What better way to celebrate love than to watch a new couple get their marriage started.
It may be February but it was a fairly warm sunny day in Nashville. There wasn’t a game that day in Nashville so it wasn’t packed there. But still, the bridge was buzzing with tons of people walking up and down it taking selfies and spending time with friends. I was pretty excited when I got to our planned spot and there was a performer standing there. He was singing John Legend’s “all of me”. It was a perfect setting for a proposal.
John & Alisha
John got in touch with me a couple of weeks ago to see if I was available while he and Alisha would be in Nashville TN for a trip. At the time the weather didn’t look like it would be great but luckily that can change pretty fast when you are looking so far in advance. The couple is from the gulf coast and enjoys taking trips together. They had already been in Nashville a day or two and had been enjoying the city.
John and Alisha have known each other for years but the timing has never been right for them until recently. They’ve been together for a while now and it just seemed like the right time. I could tell John was a bit nervous. Everyone around them got excited as he went down on one knee to propose. There were people cheering and congratulating them.
