Gospel Light Baptist Church

This was such a fun wedding! Remember Tiffany & Ray’s engagement session at Cape Disappointment in beautiful Washington State? These two are so fun to work with and their families were just as delightful. Their wedding was at their families church, Gospel Light Baptist Church, in Jackson TN. Tiffany’s father is the pastor of this church. After we’d had so much rain it was a beautiful sunny day with a cool breeze blowing through. We were able to go to someones house right down the road and use their beautiful property for our portraits.

In case you don’t remember these two have a very sweet story. Their families had tried to set them up several times and it just didn’t quite click or work out. Ray joined the navy and was in Washington State when Tiffany became a traveling nurse and just happened to choose the same area to go to so that she could be close to some other friends. She and Ray reconnected and started spending time together and before they knew it, they were dating! These two love to go on adventures together and I got the joy of hiking around and adventuring with them in Washington State for their engagement session.

First Look

From the first moment of their first look they were a joy to photograph together. You almost couldn’t find a moment that Tiffany is not smiling if you tried. They talked and laughed with one another from that first moment and were so sweet together. Their family and wedding party joined us on this beautiful property and everyone seemed to enjoy every minute together.

Tiffany and her family did all of the decorating and every detail was beautiful. They even had someone build the arbor that they got married under and plan to later add a bench or swing to it and put it up where they live when they end up back here some day. I’m so excited for these two and all the adventures they’ll have in the future. I feel so blessed to have gotten to be a part of this big day in their lives. Congratulations you two!!
