Samantha & Logan | Engagement Session | Downtown Jackson

I feel so lucky to be asked to do wedding pictures for Samantha & Logan. I met Samantha about 5 or so years ago when her family moved to town and asked me to photograph her senior pictures. She’s such a unique and gorgeous girl and her session was so fun. It’s so interesting to see just how different she is in front of the camera when Logan is with her. We met back downtown for their engagement session.

During her senior session, Samantha was shy. And of course, there are very few shy people who enjoy being the one in front of the camera. But now when Logan is with her in front of the camera it is like the rest of us don’t exist. When they stand beside or look at each other, they light up. They made my job so easy. All I had to do was stand them where I wanted and sometimes show them how to pose and then for the next 5 minutes all I had to do was take pictures. They would both smile, laugh and light up.

It’s so enjoyable to photograph a couple that automatically does all the things that we photographers normally guide people into. I had so much trouble narrowing their images down for the blog post. I love them all!! This session was so fun and I really just can’t wait for the wedding.
