Six months old
It is so hard to believe it’s already time for Graham’s six month session. You might remember him from his birth pictured here or newborn session seen here. Graham’s parents are good friends of mine and my husband. I love to spend time with them and get to photograph their children at the same time. This is a busy season for everyone so between a few sicknesses and super busy schedules it took us a few tries to get this session in. Sweet little Graham was feeling under the weather just a bit. But he still did an amazing job of giving us those sweet smiles just when we thought we might not get one.
As you might remember from big sister JoElla’s six-month session their family has a little tradition of putting babies in a dishpan and taking their pictures. It goes all the way back to the kid’s grandfather. So, of course, no matter the temperature or weather, we have to find a way to make it work. So no worries, we didn’t freeze this sweet little man. We put a heating blanket in the dishpan and had a heater right beside him just out of the frame.

He did such a great job for his session and big sister JoElla was such a great help. Winter sessions with small kids don’t give you a lot of options. It is so helpful when the family has a beautiful home you can photograph in.
