Sweet Mia | Oakland TN | Family Session

I couldn’t have come up with a better way to spend my day than meeting sweet Mia for the first time. I love it so much when people I know trust me to come and photograph their big moments. In the morning before I arrived Mia, her big brother, and mom and dad were at the courthouse for one of the most significant moments of her life.

A couple of years ago I got to photograph big brother William; he has only gotten sweeter since I saw him last. He adores his new baby sister and could make her laugh like no one else could. William was so gentle with her and kept reminding her to smile for the pictures. He wanted to be a part of all the picture-taking that we did.

I’ve known Mia and William’s mom for many years. It was a great session of catching up and getting to watch the family with their two precious little ones. Mia is such a happy and beautiful little girl. She was so laid back for her whole session. It wasn’t hard to know when it was time for the pictures to end. Mia’s eyes started to blink slower and slower as she lay on the floor for her pictures.

It didn’t take long for sweet Mia to fall asleep in her daddy’s arms while big brother played with his toys and the grown-ups did a little talking. I have the greatest job and this session was a great example of that. Congratulations on such a special day and such a beautiful little girl!
