The Bailey Family
Luckily, the Bailey family caught one of the rare sunny days for their photo session! After what felt like two straight weeks of nothing but rain and overcast skies, I think we were all craving a little sunshine. And while the sun did show up (hallelujah!), so did that classic December chill. It was definitely brisk outside, but everyone handled it like pros, and we made the most of the beautiful light and crisp air.
I’m still incredibly grateful that this sweet couple chose me to be their wedding photographer years ago. It’s such a gift to be invited into people’s lives for such big, joyful moments—but what’s even better is when that relationship continues. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know their whole family, and every session feels less like work and more like catching up with old friends. I always leave our time together with a smile on my face and a full heart. You just know when a family is full of love and laughter—and these guys definitely are.
Milestones
One of the biggest joys has been watching their precious little boy grow. It’s amazing what can change in just a short time. It had been a little while since our last session, and I was genuinely shocked to see how much he’s grown. He was full of energy, zooming around everywhere, chatting up a storm, and cracking us all up with his hilarious expressions. Honestly, he stole the show (as toddlers tend to do).
I think we captured so many sweet, fun moments that truly show off his big personality. I can already imagine how special these photos will be to look back on one day. This session was such a bright spot in my week—and not just because of the sunshine. I can’t wait to photograph the Bailey family again.
