The Carkuff Family
This weekend my family and I got the privilege of spending some time with BethAnn Carkuff Simpson and her extended family at their absolutely gorgeous family farm. Most of the Carkuff family was there for the session. While I was there I did some family portraits. I also got to do a senior session which you will see in my next post. It is always fun to photograph a family that is so close and has so much fun just being together.
This farm is so beautiful. It used to be a trout farm. It has been in their family for many years. It has a beautiful creek that runs behind the farmhouse. And over the hill from that is a gorgeous spring-fed pond. It is a really unique green color and has a waterfall on the back side of it.
We also did a few dishpan photos with one of the little ones. Their family has a tradition of taking photos of babies at around 6 months old sitting in a dishpan on a porch.
We also did portraits of sweet little Sully in a dish pan. This has been a family tradition for generations.
