Have you ever seen The Columns at One Commerce Square in Memphis TN? If you haven’t explored my website lately then you really should. I have added a new venues page. I have spent the past few months going to some of the beautiful West Tennessee Venues so that I can have a page for brides to go to and see options of some of the gorgeous wedding venues around our area. It has been a wonderful project because I have gotten to meet and get to know a lot of really great people that work in the wedding industry in my area.
Now let’s talk about The Columns at One Commerce Square. See their website here. This is one of those venues that you walk into and your eyes move up the columns and you could just stare in awe for a while at this elegant and tremendous room. It was once a grand bank and is now a historic building in downtown Memphis that is used for events. It has tons of space and one of the coolest things about it is that the bank vault is still downstairs and can be rented along with the rest of the venue and used during your event. The giant metal vault door is still there and in use and adds something very unique to this venue.
The event that was going on when I went to view The Columns at One Commerce Square had tons of space for so much. They had a stage and several gorgeous tables set up and decorated for their guests to have dinner. There was a dance floor and off to the sides, there was plenty of room for couches so people could sit away from the band and have a conversation. Then just down the stairs is the bank vault that could be used as a bar or just some extra space during a wedding. If this is a place you haven’t seen yet and you want something breathtaking and elegant for your wedding or reception, you should definitely get in touch with them and take a tour.
