The Lovely JoElla
This is the lovely JoElla. This precious little girl has no chance to not be elegant, adorable, athletic and timeless. Anyone who knows her parents knows this. And all of these things become more obvious the more she grows. So the choice to do her session at their home was a great one. Her mom has such a beautiful style and it was the perfect backdrop.
We also did what her family calls their dishpan photos. It’s a tradition that started years ago with her grandfather. Since they had a photograph of him sitting in a dishpan on a porch, they continued to take a photo like it of each of their children. And now the children are having them done of their children. I think it’s so cool that they will be able to look back and see what each of them looked like at around the same age. They are all done around 6 months.
She wasn’t feeling 100% and was still absolutely perfect. It’s not always easy for a baby to smile and sit where we tell them to when they are not feeling well. I’m so glad I got to spend time with her today.

JoElla’s mom, has a tradition in her family to get the babies pictures in a dish pan. It is January, it was warmer than normal, but still cold. And did I mention this little lady didn’t feel well. She did fantastic.
