The Marlar Family | Germantown TN

There’s something exciting after a pandemic about getting to see people again. I’ve taken numerous pictures of the Marlar family and they are always a joy to photograph. I pulled up into the driveway in Germantown TN and as I was getting my equipment out of the back seat I could hear the kids playing in the back yard. I wiped on some hand sanitizer and headed back there.

One of my favorite things about being chosen time after time to photograph the same family is that the kids start to remember you. Or at least they start to not be as nervous and shy around you. These kiddos seemed so excited to have their pictures taken. Leighton ran up and started telling me all about his friends at school. The girls were all excited to chat about their own topics too.

Somehow all of these little sweeties have totally different personalities but still give me lots of smiles at every session. We did our session in their gorgeous back yard and the kids could just run around when it wasn’t their turn. It was a quick but very successful portrait session. I’m always so happy that I was chosen to do this family’s portraits.

I always look forward to these session with these adorable cuties. I cant’ believe how much they have all grown up since the pandemic. I can’t wait for our next session.
