The Marlar Family’s 2023 Session

Well, it’s that time again I got to photograph the Marlar Family’s 2023 session in Germantown TN. This is easily my favorite family of multiples. I’ve been photographing these kiddos since the twins were newborns. I’m so glad they keep choosing me year after year. It’s really cool that the kids are old enough to remember me when I come now. We run through some quick catch-ups of what they are up to now.

When it’s time to come do their yearly family session I am always shocked that it has already been a year. Of course, we all know time flies. But it will seem like just yesterday I was photographing them and now they are all so much taller and growing into their own individual little people. I’m gonna have to study up a bit more. I still tend to still mix up the triplets’ names from time to time. Even after all these years. But to be fair I’m pretty bad with names in general. I mix up my own kids names and they look nothing alike. I’m betting that with twins or triplets though, being called someone else’s name can get old.

All the energy

The kids had all been at school all day. So there was lots of energy swirling around the yard as we were building our groupings for portraits. But who can blame them after a day of sitting still and minding the rules. The end of a busy school day can stir up lots of feelings and emotions. Due to being tired and hungry, but that’s all of us, not just kids right? We got some great smiles and expressions and I’m always sad when it’s over so soon. I’m already looking forward to next year.
