Wedding Bouquets
There is so much to do when you are planning a wedding and it can be so overwhelming. I know that when I was planning my wedding I felt a good bit of relief after nailing down some of the main things. Things like venue, cake, florist, photographer, and caterer. And the wedding bouquets and flowers are on top of the list. I felt like once I had those that I could breath a bit easier. To me, those are the ones that I would want things specific that fit with my vision for the wedding. Those are also the ones that book up the fastest and you take the chance of waiting too long and having trouble finding one you really like.
Your Flowers
If you have something specific in mind for your flowers or you want someone that you can tell what your idea is and watch them create something perfect for you, then the florist you choose is important. In some cases, their arrangements are the basis for all of your main decorations on the day of your wedding. You want to look at their samples and images of work they have done in the past and really like what they have done. Also, make sure they are professional and will be able to get everything done on time. Because if your flowers aren’t done in time then it throws a bit of a kink into your day. You also want someone who knows what types of flowers do better at different temperatures. Things like if they need to be in water or they will wilt before your day even gets started.
I’ve worked with several florists over the years and gotten the chance to photograph lots of really gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces. I’ve put together flowers from some of the weddings I’ve done in 2017 to show you. If you are planning a wedding it’s always great to get to look through bouquets to get ideas of what you might like and dislike.
