Details
Weddings are gorgeous events no matter how much decoration or wedding details there are. But I have found that the little details are some of my favorite parts of weddings. They are the parts that show you the personality of the couple. The rings were carefully chosen so that they can be worn for the rest of their lives and they will never grow outdated to them. The small decorations like the flowers or little trinkets that sit around for the guests to see. The invitations that were carefully chosen in colors that the couple likes and the words that each guest will read to welcome to them to the wedding. I’ve also seen the shoes that the bride or even the groom wear to the wedding completely show you the personality of him or her.
I’ve seen brides wear their something blue as bright blue shoes that pop off the dress. Or cowboy boots to let you know more about the lifestyle and loves of the bride or groom. The bolder the shoes the bolder the personality in a lot of cases. Even just how comfortable their shoes are shows you more about them. To be honest, about 70% of my wedding day was spent barefooted for me.
Theatre Wedding
I had a wedding last year that had the most creative details I have have seen. I loved them. The couple was really into theatre. To me, that fact alone tells you a lot about their personalities. She was outgoing, friendly and had creativity just bursting from her. Their wedding invitations were tickets like you would get to go to a play. Their wedding program was a playbill. It had images of all the members of their wedding party the same way a playbill would have the actors in the play listed. Their wedding was, of course, in a theater in downtown Jackson. It was so fun. So don’t be afraid to make the details of your wedding, yours. I don’t know about everyone else but I absolutely love when a wedding completely shows me who you are and what you like. It’s so special.
