Cub Lake Lodge
This week I was able to have a Cub Lake Lodge 1 year session with little Raiden. We have had to reschedule his session for months now due to weather, COVID, and a crazy allergic reaction he had. It’s so great to photograph kids milestone sessions because it means for a year or so I get to watch them grow up. It’s amazing how much they change and learn in that time frame.
Raiden
Little Raiden has changed even more since there was such a huge gap between his last two sessions. He is walking around and playing. He’s still a little unsteady and tips over from time to time. I”m sure he is keeping mom and dad on their toes right now.
This is the second session we have done at Natchez Trace State Park. This time we chose Cub Lake Lodge. It’s a beautiful spot that I photographed a wedding at years ago. The lake comes up on two sides of the land behind the lodge. There was a lot of erosion since the last time I was there so the ground was very uneven. And that makes for a very difficult time for a little boy that is just getting the hang of walking.
We had a few little mishaps but ended with some good smiles. It was so great seeing this sweet family again and getting to catch up a bit. Hopefully, it won’t be nearly as long between our next sessions.
