Alamo Courthouse Wedding | Dustin & Whitney

I met up with Whitney along the side of the courthouse to start the day of their Alamo courthouse wedding. She waited as I went to meet Dustin. She came around and they had a first look behind the courthouse with just the two of them. After a quick moment together we went around the front of the building to find the rest of their loved ones. Dustin’s father’s name was on the Veteran’s Memorial that we walked through to get to the ceremony spot.

Whitney and Dustin’s family were waiting under a large tree in front of the courthouse. The humidity has lightened up and it has cooled down. It was a gorgeous day with a light breeze to keep it from being too hot. They had a sweet ceremony performed by Whitney and Dustin’s friend. After everyone headed over to the reception.

The reception was at Magnolia Manor and Chapel in downtown Humboldt. Magnolia Manor is a beautiful old church that has been turned into a chapel and venue. Built in 1895, Cumberland Presbyterian was the name of the church. The Manor has a magical little courtyard that feels like a little secret area in the middle of town.

We took a few quick portraits and then Whitney and Dustin’s family started setting up for the reception. I left just as they were about to get things started. I hope that the night was perfect. I’m so glad I got to be part of this romantic Alamo courthouse wedding and Humboldt reception.
