Cassidy & Hayes are both extremely busy people. With school, studying and trying to plan a wedding it’s very hard to find free time. So we set the date for their engagement session and had very little wiggle room.
The day came and that we had set for their portraits and it was cool and kept raining on and off throughout the day. But Cassidy was determined to make it work. Once we arrived at the spot they had picked the rain stopped and we were able to go on with the session without any problems.
We started around their church where they will be getting married, Zion Baptist Church. The trees and paths were gorgeous. When I pulled up in the parking lot I immediately recognized it. I photographed a wedding there years ago. They took me to an area I had never seen and it was perfect for a session.
Once we finished there we moved on to a cotton field that had not been picked yet. As we were finishing up with the pictures it started to rain again. I’m so glad it held out and we were able to finish the session.
I had a great time getting to know these two a little better before their wedding day. I’m really looking forward to Cassidy & Hayes’ wedding in March.
