Cole Maternity Session | Jackson TN | Tracye’s Photography

It’s so fun to get to do the Cole Maternity session. I grew up with Emily and had a blast photographing her wedding a while back. They are such a sweet couple. For a maternity session you don’t want to reschedule too much or you might just run out of time. So between the snow that came through Tennessee and then the rain we were a bit limited.

I typically do my winter maternity sessions at the New Southern Hotel in downtown Jackson but they are having to have some repairs done so I needed to find a new post pretty last minute. Luckily I was able to use the Neely House in Jackson TN. The Neely house used to be a hotel across from the old train depot in Jackson.

The Neely House is a gorgeous historic building that has a beautiful old staircase and great architecture. It is now home to several businesses. For Emily and Brian’s session, we did some inside and then went outside to get some at the train station and on the front porch of the Neely house. We got lucky and were just finishing when it started pouring rain and a big thunderstorm rolled in.
